Kaziranga is a hub for nature enthusiasts, and not just because of its famed National Park. The region is also home to an orchid park as well as a few tea gardens where you can enjoy a relaxing walking tour. On our way to Kaziranga, we make a stop at Guwahati, Assam’s capital, located on the banks of the Brahmaputra River. At Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, take on thrilling safaris with numerous encounters with not just rhinos but more of its exotic animals such as the elusive Bengal tiger.
1. In Guwahati, visit the mystical Kamakhya Temple situated atop Nilachal Hill. Explore the rest of the city & enjoy a relaxing cruise across the Brahmaputra river.
2. Enchant yourself with Kaziranga’s expansive landscapes & gardens. Take a stroll around one of its captivating tea estates & orchid gardens.
3. Experience the unique Rhino safari at the Kaziranga National Park, along with encounters with other exotic animals & birds hosted by the park.
